Terms & Condition
Anyone participating in classes and workshops or attending events at ARTSPARK, or organised by ARTSPARK, must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
ARTSPARK runs classes that involve art, sewing, crafting, gardening activities and taking care of our resident animals like chickens and guinea pigs. There are risks associated with participating in our classes. You/your child will be engaging in physical activities that may involve some risk of injury. You agree to take full responsibility for any injuries and/or damage to personal property which you/your child might incur while participating in classes and/or events organised by ARTSPARK.
2.) PARENTS ATTENDANCE
Children participate in most of our classes and workshops without parents and carers in attendance. Only parents and carers of children who attend Art Playgroup and birthday parties will be permitted to stay during the classes. The door to the studio will be locked during the classes for safety. The door will stay locked until class ends also to minimise disruption to classes.
3.) Artspark is an inclusive space where everyone is welcome. We ask that students have respect for the space they are in, including the garden and the animals, and we especially ask that students have respect for one another. We may cancel bookings if a student’s behaviour is disruptive or dangerous to others.
4.) PERSONAL BELONGINGS
ARTSPARK is not responsible for damage or loss of personal items. We recommend that valuable items are not brought to our classes. Valuable items are brought to our classes at your own risk. We recommend that students wear appropriate clothing and shoes while attending all our classes and birthday parties.
5.) CANCELLATIONS, FEES, REFUND & CREDIT
-In the event that a class is cancelled by ARTSPARK, students will be notified via text message, email or phone call and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
-If a student is unable to attend all dates in a school term class, an alternative fee can be arranged if the dates of attendance are notified before the term commences. After the school term classes start, we cannot refund nor credit for missed classes. Make-up classes can be offered if there are spaces within the same term.
-For Art Playgroup, credit notes or partial refund (full amount minus a 10% for administration) will be offered when cancelled more than 12 hours prior to the class starts. You are also welcome to send someone in your place.
-For holiday workshops, if you can’t attend the class: You are welcome to send someone in your place. OR, a transfer can be requested 5 days before the class starts, an admin fee of $10.00 applies. A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts, an admin fee of $10.00 applies. No changes will be allowed after these times. Refund upgrade option is available on the booking site.
-For birthday parties, credit notes or partial refund (full amount minus deposit and 20% booking fee) will be offered when cancelled more than 14 days prior to the date of the party. Deposit will not be refunded more than 60 days prior to the date of the party.
-Extra charge of $11 incl GST will apply when you are more than 10min late for pick up after the finishing time of the class.
