Eco-farming and mini farm
Hands-on gardening is a perfect way for children to get outside in the fresh air and get their hands dirty. We plant, tend, and harvest fresh produce.
They learn about seed propagation, nutrient cycling through composting, and taking care of the chickens and guinea pigs. They are taught edible plant identification and seasonal produce, care and harvesting.
This is a great way for children to be introduced to sustainability with an appreciation for nature and the environment, to develop observational skills and responsibility and essentially to care for the Earth, for the community and fair-share.
